About The Position

The Registered Nurse at Trinity Health Cancer Center Livonia Hospital is accountable for managing patient care during a designated timeframe. The role coordinates and evaluates care, teaches patients, and delegates patient activities to other health care team members through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the care environment.

The Cancer Center provides individualized care focused on the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Its nationally accredited program includes infusion services, medical oncology and hematology, radiation oncology, image recovery, research and clinical trials, nurse navigation, nutrition, social work, spiritual care, support groups, and massage.

This is a part-time position with a day shift schedule consisting of 10-hour shifts.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan.
• BLS certification.
• Computer proficiency.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• BSN degree; alternatively, the candidate must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
• Previous oncology or infusion experience.
