About The Position

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is hiring Registered Nurses for its Telemetry/Stroke unit across multiple hours and shifts. Nurses care for patients in an acute-care community teaching hospital that provides inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine, surgery, and a wide range of specialties. Registered Nurses are supported in practicing at the top of their license through research, innovation, evidence-based practices, clinical instruction, and additional learning opportunities while completing the Nurse Residency.

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN license required within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• One year of recent acute-care RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients on the Telemetry/Stroke unit.
• Practice at the top of the nursing license using research, innovation, and evidence-based practices.
• Participate in clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities during the Nurse Residency.
