About The Position

The Registered Nurse works collaboratively at Nazareth Hospital to deliver excellent, individualized, evidence-based patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team and facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience. The role focuses on treating the whole person physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Under limited supervision, the RN assesses patients and develops, evaluates, and modifies care plans. The RN interprets and performs complex patient-care procedures within their expertise and is accountable as a member of the Care Team and Support Team for working toward patient outcomes identified in the pathway or plan of care. The RN assumes responsibility for the care of a group of patients during a designated timeframe, using therapeutic communication, the nursing process, the care environment and technology, and other healthcare team members in accordance with established standards. Patients served range from infants through older adults.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program approved.
• Current Registered Nurse license from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
• Certifications aligned with the area of responsibility; BLS is the minimum required certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Prior relevant experience in an acute care setting.
