About The Position

The Registered Nurse is accountable for interpreting the plan of medical care, using clinical assessment and decision-making to determine nursing care, ensuring care is delivered safely and competently, providing individualized nursing care, and evaluating care for groups of patients. This is an onsite, patient-care role at Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center Brighton. The position is scheduled for 24 hours per week on the night shift.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Nursing required; experience cannot be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Registered Nurse state license required.
0–1 year of clinical nursing experience required.
Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment.
Knowledge of the care required by the age groups served.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
Modify patient treatment plans in response to patients' conditions and responses.
