Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room FT Days
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) works in the four-bed Operating Room at Atrium Health Lake Norman in Cornelius, North Carolina. The team provides surgical care across specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and gynecology, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other teammates to deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care from pre-op through recovery. The RN provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, communication skills, and compassion. The role contributes to a safe patient environment and a positive patient experience in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week, with call requirements.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

- One year of RN operating room experience is strongly preferred.
