Direct Care Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care
About The Position
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering competent nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching and health promotion, and evaluation. The role follows professional performance standards covering ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and nursing research, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN applies clinical knowledge and skills to meet the standards required by the assigned clinical area. This is a full-time day-shift position at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing.
- Registered nursing license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
- One year of RN experience.
