Direct Care Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing competent nursing care using the nursing process and applying the standards of professional practice. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation. The RN applies professional standards related to ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and nursing research, quality, resource utilization, and environmental health. The RN maintains the clinical knowledge and skills needed to meet the standards required for the specific clinical area. This is a full-time, first-shift role in Intermediate Care in Woodbridge, Virginia.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing.
- Registered nursing license.
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
- One year of RN experience.
