About The Position
BAYADA’s Phoenix Skilled Office is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide pediatric private duty care. The role involves delivering high-quality care with compassion, excellence, and reliability. Nurses provide one-on-one care to a single client during traditional 4-, 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, build client relationships, and support clients as they reach milestones. BAYADA serves adults and pediatric clients throughout the Phoenix Metro area, around the clock. The nurse travels to one client’s home near them on a chosen schedule. The role offers autonomy in providing skilled care in the home, with support from a close-knit, team-focused office known for hands-on support and open communication. Schedules vary, with 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts available seven days a week. Starting pay is $35–$39 per hour, depending on the client. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state of Arizona.
- Have one year of experience working as a Registered Nurse.
Nice To Haves
- Trach experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide hands-on, one-on-one care to a client in the client’s home.
- Travel to one client’s home according to the nurse’s chosen schedule.
