About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) supervises staff, monitors patients, implements treatments, develops patient care plans for long-term needs, administers medications, follows up with families, and provides high-quality care to residents and patients. The RN provides clinical care in compliance with current federal and state guidelines and company regulations. The role includes documenting care and observations, communicating with physicians, families, and staff, completing nursing documentation, and participating in medication management. Requirements

Valid Registered Nursing license.
Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
Valid CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Six months of experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise staff, monitor patients, implement treatments, and administer medications.
Develop patient care plans for long-term needs and follow up with families.
Provide clinical care in compliance with federal and state guidelines and company regulations.
Promptly document care performed and observations of resident status in the clinical record in accordance with facility guidelines and applicable regulations.
Communicate with residents’ physicians and families, as well as staff.
Complete nursing documentation, including assessments, orders, progress notes, flowsheets, consents, and assigned tasks, ensuring records accurately reflect required and provided services.
Participate in medication management to promote resident safety and medication effectiveness.
Maintain punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.
