About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to adult and geriatric residents at The Alice Center, a skilled nursing facility offering 24-hour nursing and rehabilitation services in a welcoming, home-like environment for up to 135 residents. The position supports a resident-centered approach to long-term care and promotes quality resident outcomes. This is a part-time evening position with a flexible schedule of six shifts per two-week pay period. The primary shift is 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with every other weekend and evening, weekend, and holiday availability as needed. The position is based at The Alice Center in Malone, New York, and is a bargaining union position. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
Current New York State RN licensure or temporary permit required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult and geriatric residents.
Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, standing, and assisting or transferring residents.
Availability to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
