About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Oahu Visits team. The RN is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team, providing skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients so they can remain at home. Care is delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability in accordance with each client’s individual care plan. This per diem role serves clients in Haleiwa, Wahiawa, and Mililani. The nurse must complete a full week of office orientation followed by field precepting. BAYADA provides paid training in the office, in the home, and online, along with clinical support around the clock. Compensation is $70–$75 per point, depending on qualifications and subject to negotiation, with weekly pay. The position offers flexible scheduling and may qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
Requirements
- Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state of Hawaii.
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- Have at least one year of current or recent hands-on medical experience within the past two years with the adult/geriatric population in acute care, emergency department, home health, hospice, ICU, med-surg, sub-acute care, or medical or skilled nursing rehabilitation settings.
- Be able to complete a full week of orientation in the office, followed by precepting in the field.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one skilled nursing, interventions, and supportive care according to individual care plans, including medication administration, wound care, and treatments.
- Perform client assessments, educate patients and/or their families, and monitor patients’ conditions.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care management and services provided, using a touch pad tablet.
