At Saint Mary’s Hospital, Float Team Registered Nurses may work in various nursing departments, including all Medical-Surgical units: Sacred Heart 5 (SH5), O’Brien 4 (OB4), and O’Brien 7 (OB7). With additional training, float RNs may also work in Critical Care and the Emergency Department. The role is in a fast-paced environment and involves working with an interdisciplinary team, providing safe, patient-centered care, and supporting organizational responsibilities. Float RNs can gain experience across hospital areas and receive managerial and administrative support on all shifts. Saint Mary’s Hospital is a Catholic, not-for-profit community teaching hospital serving Waterbury, Connecticut, and surrounding communities since 1909. The hospital emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care and respect for the dignity and differing perspectives, experiences, and talents of every colleague. It is an equal opportunity employer.
