About The Position

The Registered Nurse assists with the development, implementation, utilization, and maintenance of the day-to-day operations of the Inpatient Nursing unit. The role works closely with departmental managers and directors to support staff and patient needs and contributes to department operations, including assigning work, providing real-time coaching, and recognizing staff.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing.
Registered Nurse license in the State of Iowa.
Maintain current and active status in all trainings and education required by corporate policy.
BLS, ACLS, and Basic Dysrhythmia certifications.
Experience as a preceptor and mentor for nursing staff.

Nice To Haves

Two to five years of experience in acute medical care.
Two to five years of experience providing adult education.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Board certification in nursing education, professional nursing development, or acute care.
