About The Position
Visiting Nurse Association of Florida (VNA), a nonprofit home health provider, is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse to perform home health visits in Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, Weston, and Coral Springs, Florida. The role supports patients in healing, recovering, and remaining independent at home through skilled nursing care, individualized care planning, patient and caregiver education, and coordination with the healthcare team. The position offers flexible scheduling and local patient assignments.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN license.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience preferred.
- OASIS experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled nursing visits in patient homes.
- Complete OASIS assessments and documentation.
- Develop and manage individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease management and safety.
- Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition.
