About The Position
River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its multidisciplinary team at The Recovery Crisis Center in Macon, Georgia. The nurse will provide compassionate, client-centered care in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. The Recovery Center provides an alternative to inpatient hospitalization through 24/7 walk-in outpatient services, a 23-hour observation unit, residential psychiatric stabilization, and medically monitored detox services. The position is located at 3575 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, GA. The schedule is 36 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts, with shifts scheduled Sunday through Saturday and every other weekend from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- At least one year of professional nursing experience.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ health problems and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver direct nursing care to clients in crisis, including those with mental health and substance use challenges.
- Administer oral, sublingual, and IV medications and monitor their effects.
