D104 - Adult MH Crisis - Registered Nurse, Crisis
About The Position
River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its multidisciplinary team in Macon, Georgia, providing compassionate, client-centered nursing care in a fast-paced crisis setting. The Recovery Crisis Center offers an alternative to inpatient hospitalization, including 24/7 walk-in outpatient services, a 23-hour observation unit, residential psychiatric stabilization, and medically monitored detox services. The position is located at 3575 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, Georgia. The schedule is 36 hours per week in three 12-hour shifts, with shifts running 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., Sunday through Saturday, and every other weekend.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- At least one year of professional nursing experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ health problems and develop individualized care plans.
- Deliver direct nursing care to clients in crisis, including clients facing mental health and substance use challenges.
- Administer oral, sublingual, and IV medications and monitor their effects.
