About The Position
Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a compassionate and motivated part-time Registered Nurse to join our Virginia REACH team. This role supports adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) and mental health needs at our Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) in Staunton, VA. The position focuses on providing weekend care, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 7 pm. The goal is to empower individuals with the tools and coping skills to prevent future crises and promote stability, recovery, and hope.
Requirements
- Current valid, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia.
- A valid driver's license and car insurance for occasional transportation to appointments.
- Knowledge of MH and I/DD systems of care preferred.
- Experience in crisis prevention and intervention services preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs in a Crisis Therapeutic Home.
- Administer medications, perform nursing assessments, and ensure the highest standard of care.
- Educate and empower individuals regarding their physical and mental health.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized care and treatment plans.
- Ensure safety and compliance by maintaining accurate documentation and following clinical standards.
- Provide guidance to Behavior Techs and LPNs as needed.
