About The Position

The Registered Nurse works with other healthcare professionals to treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. The role includes monitoring patients, administering medications, maintaining records, consulting with healthcare providers, and educating patients. This is a per diem position in Pain Management at Chilton Medical Center, scheduled for two days per week with varying hours.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• ASN graduates must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
• Master’s degree in nursing or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in nursing or a relevant area.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate and complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
