About The Position

Bluedot Cares is a home care agency serving clients across the Charlotte region, helping people stay safe, healthy, and independent at home. The PRN Registered Nurse picks up home visits according to their schedule, completing comprehensive patient assessments and providing skilled nursing care in patients’ homes. The role may suit nurses seeking extra income, a change from facility work, or flexibility around another job.

Requirements

Active, unrestricted North Carolina RN license or compact privilege to practice in North Carolina.
At least 1 year of recent clinical nursing experience.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Valid North Carolina driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
Ability to manage visits independently, meet documentation deadlines, and use an EHR.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient transfers.
Clean background check, TB screening, and no substantiated findings on the NC Health Care Personnel Registry.

Nice To Haves

Home health experience.
OASIS documentation experience.

Responsibilities

Complete OASIS comprehensive assessments, including Start of Care, Resumption of Care, recertifications, and significant-change visits.
Work with physicians to develop and update each patient’s plan of care.
Provide skilled nursing services, treatments, and preventive care within the RN scope of practice.
Monitor patient condition and report changes to the physician.
Teach patients and families how to manage care at home.
Supervise LPNs and home health aides as assigned, including aide supervisory visits.
Document visits accurately and on time in the electronic health record.
Participate in on-call or after-hours coverage as scheduled.
