About The Position

MultiCare’s Pulse Heart Institute is a physician-led institute partnering across cardiothoracic surgery, vascular, and cardiovascular service lines. Its programs provide cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care, including complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure services, and advanced imaging. The staff Registered Nurse joins a hospital-based, multidisciplinary team and uses specialized nursing knowledge and training to provide patient care. The position is 0.6 FTE, working night shifts in 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends. Cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) experience is required. Requirements

Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
Current BLS certification.
ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification, as required by the facility or department.
CVICU experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Certification in a specialty area.
One year of experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
Use nursing education and experience to deliver care through the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
