Registered Nurse - Full Time
About The Position
Concentra is seeking an Onsite Registered Nurse (RN) to promote health, prevent disease, and help employees cope with industrial illnesses and injuries. The RN will also serve as an advocate and health educator for employees and their families, providing care and support in a workplace setting. The role is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with hours contingent on business needs. The listed hourly pay range is $55 to $65; Concentra’s market-specific rate will be provided during the interview process. The position involves access to confidential and sensitive information and requires ongoing discretion and secure information management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university, or graduation from an accredited registered nursing program.
- Current registration or license in the state where employed.
- Customarily at least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational health nursing or a related field.
- Ongoing discretion and secure management of confidential and sensitive information.
Nice To Haves
- Previous occupational health experience is highly preferred.
- COHN certification is requested.
Responsibilities
- Observe, assess, and record patients’ symptoms, reactions, and progress.
- Develop and manage nursing care plans; instruct patients and their families in proper care; and help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain their health.
- Provide nursing and first aid services to employees and others who are ill or injured on clients’ premises, in accordance with Concentra policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations, to achieve occupational health and safety services objectives.
- Promote health, prevent disease, and help employees cope with industrial illnesses and injuries.
- Act as an advocate and health educator for employees and families.
