About The Position

Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed patient care to patients and families at the competent level, using the principles and practices of the nursing process. The nurse delivers safe and effective care and works with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. The position is in Cardiac Outpatient Recovery and Evaluation. An $18,000 sign-on bonus is offered for experienced new hires.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Nursing.
Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers, an AHA-recognized equivalent, or the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
Ability to work rotating shifts.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Ability to perform the listed physical and sensory job functions, including standing, sitting, walking, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds unassisted, and dealing effectively with stressful situations.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required for most nursing areas within the hospital.
