Registered Nurse Weekend Program Short Stay Unit

About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Short Stay Unit is responsible and accountable for providing direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients from admission through discharge. This is a part-time Weekend Program position scheduled from 1 p.m. to 1 a.m., with a 15% shift differential and a 25% weekend differential.
Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kentucky.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Complete mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training before the end of the orientation period and maintain it annually.

- Recent experience in the specialty.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
