Registered Nurse Weekend Program Short Stay Unit

About The Position
The Registered Nurse Weekend Program position is in the Short Stay Unit and is part-time, with a 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. schedule. The role includes a 15% shift differential and a 25% weekend differential. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for providing direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients from admission through discharge.
Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kentucky.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Complete mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training before the end of the orientation period and maintain it annually.
Nice To Haves
- Recent experience in a specialty.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
