Registered Nurse Weekend Program Short Stay Unit

About The Position
The Registered Nurse Weekend Program in the Short Stay Unit is a full-time position with a 1 p.m. to 1 a.m. schedule, a 15% shift differential, and a 25% weekend differential. The nurse is responsible and accountable for providing direct, comprehensive nursing care to patients from admission through discharge.
Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Complete mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training before the end of the orientation period and maintain it annually.
Nice To Haves
- Recent experience in the specialty.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
