About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a 28-bed medical-surgical telemetry unit. The RN provides high-quality patient care and collaborates with healthcare professionals to meet patient needs. The unit includes a director, manager, clinical nurse coordinator, RNs, LVNs, patient care technicians, and a unit secretary. Patient ratios are 1:5–6. Day-shift staffing includes one CNC, three RNs, three LVNs, three PCTs, and one unit secretary; night-shift staffing includes one CNC, three RNs, three LVNs, and three PCTs. The RN may float to other medical-surgical telemetry units and assist in the Emergency Department with inpatient hold patients as needed. The required scrub color is royal blue. Full-time employees must work four weekend shifts per four-week schedule. No on-call duty is required.
Requirements
- Current RN license.
- Caring and compassionate behaviors.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
