About The Position

The Emergency Department at Atrium Health Navicent Peach is part of a critical access hospital in Byron, Georgia. The 14-bed department provides prompt and effective care for a range of medical emergencies. The facility is designated a Pathway to Excellence Facility by the ANCC, and the Emergency Department received the ENA Lantern award in 2025. Emergency Department nursing ratios are maintained at 3:1 or 4:1.

The Registered Nurse provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN applies evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while helping create a safe patient environment and a positive patient experience across the continuum.

This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week on the night shift, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., three shifts per week.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
