Registered Nurse, Cath Lab, Baptist Downtown
About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. The nurse will provide care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced setting, working closely with physicians and the Cath Lab team. The schedule is four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call is required for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Baptist Health is a locally governed, faith-based, not-for-profit health system serving Northeast Florida through more than 200 locations and six hospitals. Its centers of excellence include Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center, Baptist Heart Hospital, Baptist Neurological Institute, and Wolfson Children's Hospital.
Requirements
- Licensed Registered Nurse.
- Associate of Science in Nursing required.
- Two years of critical care experience.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and manage IV lines as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and adhere to ACLS protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards.
