Registered Nurse - Neonatal ICU
About The Position
Saint Clare's Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Neonatal ICU. The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and directs and guides patient and family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards. The role requires responding quickly and accurately to changes in a patient's condition or response to treatment, providing a safe environment for patients and visitors, and using the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well-being and appropriate care. In the NICU, the nurse provides direct patient care to neonates within the scope of practice, from post-delivery stabilization through discharge.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- NRP (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
- One year of experience in an acute care setting, including experience in a nursery or NICU environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
