About The Position

Saint Clare's Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Neonatal ICU. The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and maintains professional nursing standards. The role includes directing and guiding patient and family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel, responding promptly and accurately to changes in a patient's condition or response to treatment, and helping maintain a safe environment for patients and visitors. The nurse uses the chain of command when necessary to support patient well-being and appropriate care for neonates from post-delivery stabilization through discharge. In the NICU, the nurse provides direct patient care to neonates within the scope of practice, with assistance.

Requirements

Current and valid state RN license.
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain it.
NRP (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain it.
One year of experience in an acute care setting, with experience in a nursery or NICU environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
