About The Position

Cranial Technologies is the world leader in researching and treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and offers treatment with EarWell® to correct infant ear shapes without surgery. We are seeking a full-time Clinician to join our team in Los Angeles, CA (Los Feliz clinic). This role involves treating infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. The position is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants. Clinicians are considered experts in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, developing strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. The company hires from various backgrounds, finding PTs, OTs, Registered Nurses, and Certified Prosthetist-Orthotists/Certified Orthotists to be a good fit due to their relevant skills and experience. A background in pediatrics is required. This role offers a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area within a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic. In addition to working in the Los Feliz Clinic, you would also provide occasional coverage for our DOC Van Mobile Clinic, with provided training and eligibility for additional bonuses.

Requirements

  • Licensed RN
  • Prior pediatric experience required
  • 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g. splints, braces, maternity belts)
  • Valid Class C (standard) driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Professional, dependable, and able to work independently
  • Candidates must be able to commute independently to the DOC Van locations for their scheduled shifts
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®.
  • Perform basic daily mobile clinic/RV operational tasks, including safety checks and monitoring supplies.
  • Pick up materials and DOC Band® products from FedEx locations as needed.
  • Collaborate with DOC Van team members to ensure high quality patient care to all families treated at the mobile clinic.
