About The Position
Cranial Technologies is the world leader in researching and treating plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) and correcting infant ear shapes with the EarWell® device. We are seeking a full-time Clinician to join our team in Los Angeles, CA, specifically at our Los Feliz clinic. This role is based in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, focusing exclusively on infants. It offers a unique opportunity to specialize in a non-traditional, niche area within a child-friendly, state-of-the-art clinic. As a Clinician, you will be responsible for reshaping infant head shapes using the DOC Band® and correcting ear shapes with EarWell®. You will be recognized by pediatricians and parents as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and misshapen ears, building strong relationships with families throughout their treatment journey. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, recognizing the unique strengths each brings. Physical Therapists (PTs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) are well-suited due to their knowledge of symmetry, anatomy, torticollis, and infant development. Registered Nurses (RNs) are a great fit due to their hands-on patient care experience, compassion, and ability to treat the whole patient. Certified Prosthetist-Orthotists and Certified Orthotists are also strong candidates due to their orthotics and direct patient care experience. A background in pediatrics is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Requirements
- Licensed RN
- Prior pediatric experience required
- 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off-the-shelf orthotic devices (e.g. splints, braces, maternity belts)
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band®
- Correct infant ear shapes with EarWell®
- Serve as an expert in the evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and conditions involving misshapen ears
- Develop relationships with families at every stage of their treatment process
