About The Position

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital, in partnership with Select Medical, is hiring a full-time day-shift Registered Nurse in Phoenix, Arizona. The position works 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 7:30. Compensation is $39.38–$53.00 per hour, plus shift differentials, and the position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The inpatient rehabilitation hospital provides care for individuals with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. On each shift, the RN partners with a Nursing Assistant and manages a patient caseload, helping patients work toward goals and milestones in their individualized care plans. Requirements

Valid state RN license.
BLS certification at hire.
ACLS certification within six months of hire.

BSN or enrollment in a BSN program.
Clinical experience.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and transfers.
Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Promote continuous quality improvement.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Partner with a Nursing Assistant to support patients in achieving the goals and milestones in their care plans.
