About The Position
Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Neuro Surgical Trauma (NeST) ICU team at its Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho. The position is located at the Regional Medical Center near I-184 and Curtis Road. The 18-bed unit provides intensive care for patients with neurological, surgical, or traumatic injuries and illnesses, including multi-trauma, spinal cord injuries, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, and stroke. Nurses work in a state-of-the-art unit with advanced technology and equipment, serving patients in a Level II Trauma Center and Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center. The unit works with board-certified, fellowship-trained neurocritical care physicians. This part-time role has a 12-hour night shift schedule.
Requirements
- Idaho or multistate RN license; applicable multistate license holders must establish Idaho residency within six months.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS certifications within designated timelines.

- Critical care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide intensive-level nursing care to patients with neurological, surgical, or traumatic injuries and illnesses.
- Care for patients with conditions such as multi-trauma, spinal cord injury, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, and stroke.
- Work as part of the Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU team in an 18-bed critical care unit.
