About The Position
Renders professional nursing care to a group of assigned patients within the hospital. Collaborates with medical staff and other members of the health care team to provide quality patient care. Performs activities in accordance with approved policies and guidelines, and supervises and delegates appropriate duties to ancillary personnel.
Requirements
- Current RN license to practice in North Carolina, either a North Carolina license or a multi-state (compact) license.
- Meet general hospital and departmental competency requirements.
- Hold current technical certificates as required by specialty area, such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale Certification, NRP, STABLE, or TNCC.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Professional nursing certification preferred.
- Recent acute care experience within the past three years preferred.
