About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide dialysis care in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. The role supports the dialysis program at Penn State Holy Spirit, Select Specialty Camp Hill, and UPMC Carlisle, and involves working with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute care units. It is a fast-paced, collaborative position involving work with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff. Paid training is provided; prior dialysis experience is not required. The schedule is full time, three days per week, with day-shift hours available and every other Saturday. Regular and on-call shifts may include weekends and holidays. The nurse may rotate between facilities as needed, and daily schedules may change based on patient needs.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of practice.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.
Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, potentially including a booster when eligible.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required.
CNN/CDN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes.
Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.
Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment.
