Physician Assistant (inpt/outpt)
About The Position
Care New England Medical Group and Kent Hospital are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the surgical team in Warwick, Rhode Island. The position supports Surgical Oncology, Colorectal Surgery, and Hepatopancreatic Biliary (HPB) care and offers a comprehensive inpatient and outpatient role in a collaborative, team-oriented department focused on quality medical care. The provider will work with an experienced, collegial group of physicians and advanced practice providers. The department offers regular mentorship and collaboration, and uses the EPIC system implemented across the organization. The schedule is Monday through Friday during daytime hours.
Requirements
- Must be a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Nice To Haves
- Colorectal surgery or other surgical specialty experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical first assistance.
- Conduct inpatient rounds.
- Evaluate consultations and perform procedures.
- See patients in outpatient office visits.
