The Registered Nurse (RN) provides compassionate, quality care that is customer- and family-focused. The RN assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents care according to hospital and care center policies and professional nursing standards, and is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered. The RN helps define, implement, and improve practice standards and the environment of care while promoting exceptional customer care. Duties may vary according to the assigned care center and its clinical needs. The role consistently demonstrates Maple Grove Hospital’s mission, vision, values, and guiding principles. The Intensive Care Center is a collaborative unit caring for a diverse mix of medical and surgical patients, including pulmonary, cardiac, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, endocrine, and elective surgery populations. Most daily assignments are medical/surgical focused, with ICU-level assignments as patient acuity and census require. The average census includes approximately two critical-care patients per day. The hospital has limited availability of some services, including no dialysis or catheterization lab and reduced interventional radiology availability. This is an on-site, night-shift position with 12-hour shifts, 72 hours per two-week pay period, and a requirement to work every third weekend. There is no call requirement. The position is non-exempt and eligible for health insurance benefits. The listed salary range is $44.69–$74.32, based on experience; compensation may include a shift differential. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
