REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - MED/SURG, TELEMETRY & ONCOLOGY
About The Position
Southwest General Health Center is a 352-bed community hospital in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. The Registered Nurse plans, provides, and directs patient care and teaching using the nursing process, patient care standards, and physician orders. The nurse serves as a liaison among physicians, patients, and families and collaborates with other healthcare team members. The role also assists with orientation of new personnel and may participate in health center and department committees. The staff nurse must demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide care appropriate to patients’ chronological age, developmental age, and/or psychosocial maturity. The hospital notes that it offers no rotating shifts and free parking. New graduates are welcome to apply; medical/surgical experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
- Current CPR and BLS certification.
- ACLS certification required within one year of hire.
