About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work in the General Operating Room in Zanesville, Ohio. The schedule is a day shift of either 36 or 40 hours per week. The role includes a rotating call schedule shared between two teams, covering both weekdays and weekends. Holiday call coverage may be required if it falls within the RN’s contract, and holiday coverage is required. The call rotation may vary based on patient census and staffing needs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of current or recent Operating Room experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in robotic surgery.
- Neurosurgery experience.
- Orthopedic experience.
- Proficiency in Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the General Operating Room.
- Participate in a rotating weekday and weekend call schedule shared between two teams.
- Provide holiday coverage, including holiday call coverage when applicable to the contract.
