About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for their ACUTE Medical / Telemetry unit. This is a FULL TIME NIGHTS position. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where critical thinking, prioritization, and teamwork define every shift. This dynamic acute care team manages a diverse adult patient population with complex medical conditions. The unit is known for strong interdisciplinary collaboration, professional autonomy, and a culture that values bedside nursing expertise. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. Primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of patients. Teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for patients. Requirements

  • RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia
  • BLS and NIHSS within 90 days of hire
  • Previous RN experience preferred
  • New Grads Welcome

Responsibilities
