Registered Nurse (RN) - Step Down
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Step Down department plans, directs, coordinates, and provides high-quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. The position reports to the Director of Patient Cares Services/Shift Manager and works full time on nights, with Holiday Rotation A. Doctors Medical Center of Modesto describes a supportive work environment focused on compassion, innovation, professional growth, and work-life balance. The hospital is part of the Central Valley Doctors Health System and provides inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care.
Requirements
- Current California RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire or transfer into the department.
- At least 6 months of med/surg/tele experience.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- PALS certification if performing the role of charge relief.
