About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services that support patients in attaining or maintaining the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The RN evaluates patient needs through ongoing assessment and revises care plans as patient conditions change. The role also provides clinical supervision to CNAs and LPNs. The employer is affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, described as a privately owned healthcare organization with more than 200 locations across the United States.

Requirements

• Nursing diploma or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Registered Nurse license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation, and kept current throughout employment.
• Ability to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment.
• Ability to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
