About The Position

This is a register for Registered Nurses interested in being considered for fixed-term full-time, part-time, or casual employment periods up to 12 months within community settings in South and North West Tasmania. The register will remain open until June 30, 2028, and will be reviewed regularly. Inclusion on this register does not guarantee employment. Separate registers exist for Acute and Sub-acute Nursing, and Mental Health Nursing.

Requirements

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
• Current Driver's Licence
• Pre-employment checks including conviction check (crimes of violence, sex-related offences, serious drug offences, crimes involving dishonesty), identification check, and disciplinary action in previous employment check.
• Conviction check assessment every three years as required by CHSP.
• Potentially a current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration may be required.
