About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Midtown Atlanta is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronically critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate care and treatment to patients throughout their recovery. The role is full-time nights with 12-hour shifts in Atlanta, Georgia, and pays $44.58–$60.00 per hour based on experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Document patient care accurately and on time using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
