About The Position

UPMC Home Health is hiring full-time Registered Nurses to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in patients’ homes across Turtle Creek, Wilmerding, Pitcairn, and surrounding communities. Assignments are based on patient needs and proximity to the nurse’s home. The position offers independent practice supported by an interdisciplinary team, opportunities to build meaningful relationships with patients and families, and a more sustainable pace of nursing. Schedules include 8- or 10-hour shifts, with a dedicated weekend program offering premium pay and benefits. Sign-on bonuses are available for new graduates and experienced RNs. Mileage is reimbursed at the federal rate, and a career ladder offers clinical advancement while remaining in patient care. The role includes developing and managing plans of care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary partners, educating patients and families to promote independence and recovery, and completing OASIS, visit notes, and orders electronically using a provided laptop. Nurses are expected to support high-quality, patient-centered outcomes while maintaining regulatory standards.
