About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing visits in patients’ homes in Ocala and surrounding areas. The role involves assessing patients, developing and managing individualized care plans, educating patients and caregivers, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and monitoring patient progress. Visiting Nurse Association of Florida is a nonprofit home health provider with 50 years of service and describes the position as offering flexible scheduling, local patient assignments, and supportive clinical and leadership teams.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN license.
- Minimum one year of nursing experience.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
- Perform skilled nursing visits in patient homes.
- Complete OASIS assessments and documentation.
- Develop and manage individualized care plans.
