About The Position

Elara Caring is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide home health care. The nurse assesses patients’ care needs, completes initial and ongoing assessments, and provides care according to plans of care and physician orders. The role includes protecting patient and staff privacy in accordance with HIPAA, monitoring and reporting changes in patient conditions, educating patients and families about care and safety, and taking appropriate action when conditions change. The nurse helps ensure quality, safe, and continuous patient care while traveling between patient homes and assigned work locations.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduation from an accredited certificate, diploma, associate, or baccalaureate school of nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.

Nice To Haves

• Home Health experience is preferred, but not required.
