About The Position
Sanford Health is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for Wheaton Medical Center. The RN uses the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes and planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized care to patients. The role offers variety and opportunities to work independently and collaboratively with other professionals while supporting patients and families with high-quality care. Day or night 12-hour shifts are available to cover vacations, sick time, and leaves. A minimum of one shift per month is required. The position is based in a small-town healthcare setting. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Hold an unencumbered RN license in the state where nursing is practiced, or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
- Work at least one shift per month.
