About The Position

Luxury Senior Living Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to ill, injured, disabled, and convalescent residents. The role includes administering medications and treatments, monitoring residents’ vital signs, using nursing equipment, evaluating resident needs and conditions, and helping develop individual nursing care plans. The RN must be flexible with scheduling and available to work weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Requirements

• Hold a current Florida RN license.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Have knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
• Have basic math skills.
• Be responsible, energetic, punctual, resourceful, accurate, and detail-oriented.
• Be flexible with work schedules and available to work weekends, holidays, and emergencies.
• Be able to work under pressure, multitask, and work independently as well as with a team.
• Have a self-motivated approach and strong work ethic.
• Have an enthusiastic, friendly personality and aptitude for working with a variety of people.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in long-term care.
• Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments using approved nursing techniques, including IV medications if certified.
• Measure residents’ temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to identify deviations from normal and monitor progress.
• Assemble and use equipment such as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, and oxygen suppliers.
• Evaluate residents’ needs, condition, and care, and assist in developing individual nursing care plans.
